October 2016 - New House - New Studio - New Start!
2015 - 2016 has been a stop start year due to family and health issues plus the small matter of moving to a new home and all that entails. However, we are now firmly settled in the beautiful little village of Brinton, North Norfolk and I have a brand new garden studio in which to create!

After months of inactivity, the Summer of 2016 marked a welcome return to painting and a very successful one-man show at the revamped gallery at Cley Nature Reserve, which coincided with their 90th Anniversary celebrations.

As a result I featured on BBC Look East which was fantastic publicity resulting in additional sales - a stunning TV debut even if I say so myself!

I was part of a group show at Blickling Hall followed by two successful EAGMA events at Raveningham Barns and Sathouse Church.

I was delighted to have two paintings selected for the Institute of East Anglian Artists Annual Open at Picturecraft in Holt. The standard of work was exceptional this year.

Workshops and demonstrations are becoming increasingly popular, with Corpusty and Caister Art Groups my latest friends - proving to be both talented and enthusiastic groups of students - and fun people too!

Soft Pastel continues to be an increasing passion and my favourite medium. I am curently experimenting with alcohol washes on various brands of liquid tolerant surfaces with some great effects. Watch this space!
